Evaluating the Hybrid Multi-Protocol Label Switching (MPLS) on the Enhanced Interior Gateway Routing Protocol (EIGRP)

The development of technology and communication is expanding rapidly. In this case, the internet has become a vital necessity in globalization. Technological innovations are required to create seamless, fast, secure system. This research aims evaluate Enhanced Interior Gateway Routing Protocol (EIGRP) implementation by applying Multiprotocol Label Switching (MPLS) technology. study adhered several stages Network Development Life Cycle (NDLC) method. results two combinations, EIGRP MPLS, demonstrated MPLS network simulation testing dynamic routing systems: OSPF, identified through Quality Service (QoS) value. It revealed that best performance was with throughput 2152.5 bps, delay 335.6 ms, jitter 411 ms. Furthermore, redundancy better applied mesh topology multi or backup link than linear single link.
